My name is Erica Valdez and I am happily married to Jelani Valdez. Our wedding ceremony took place here in St. Bede's, 12 years ago on February 3rd. We do not have any children, but we are honored and blessed to have 9 god-children and 3 younger siblings that we love and care for. We believe family is the most important thing in our lives. I am currently working a part-time job and helping my husband with his company. In the past couple of years, we have been more active in the church community. We have helped in the Latin festival and the Virgin Guadalupe celebration. Last year we started to assist with the youth's formation for the 5 p.m. service. I also teach ESL classes on Tuesdays. I am honored to have been nominated for Vestry. I assure my contribution and dedication in this journey to unite our communities. I promise only my best for St. Bede's.
