Martha Robert is a cradle Episcopalian and was a member of St. Bartholomew's, Atlanta for more than 25 years before moving from the metro area in 2013. She was an educator in Decatur schools and then financial administrator of Nicholas House and the Atlanta Children's Shelter. Martha was executive director of the Chattahoochee Valley Episcopal Ministry in Columbus GA for more than 7 years before retiring and returning to Atlanta (east Gwinnett!) in 2022 to "hang out" with her now eight-year-old granddaughter after school and whenever else she can. Since returning to Atlanta, Martha has found a home at St. Bede's. She has participated in the parish's Sacred Ground circle and is a current member of the Outreach Committee and the Contemplative Living group. She also is finishing a provisional year with the Order of St. Anna the Prophet, taking novice vows on February 1st. Martha looks forward to serving St. Bede's on vestry and in growing together in faith and action as God's body in the world.
